Vedan is a world of isolation. We know our stories, our history, our culture, our religion and races. We know not of the world outside our island. Most who are born here will die here, and most who will die here are born here. Those few who enter our land bring stories of a strange and exotic world, where they claim dragons can be good and there is only one kingdom of Elves. Those few who enter do not leave. Those few who dream of the outside world and the outrageous things that may or may not exist, and who pursue their dreams and break borders and leave Vedan - they are gone. They do not return.
Vedan is a prison. We cannot leave, we know not what lies outside our cell. Our world is our own. Do not question our values, our beliefs, our morals, our black and our white, stranger. You are from outside our land. You may not understand why the good strike down their foes and why the evil wield life as their weapons, but that is Vedan. We are the Island of Evil Dragons.
